Setting up your own foundation can be costly and have far-reaching consequences. The Foundation makes it possible to create sheltered funds within the Foundation, on accordance with the wished of the donor, which means that it is much easier and cheaper for donors to set up and manage their funds than if they would create their own foundation.

Types of funds

• Donations : Funds made available for a specific and generally predetermined project that can be distributed entirely and quickly. The Foundation preservation of the outstanding share of these funds, if any.
  Minimum donation: CHF 10,000.
• Project endowment (upfront) funds :Funds intended entirely for one of more projects which will be distributed entirely over a period of 1 to 5 years. Additional allocations can be made to the fund during the project or on its completion.
  Minimum amount for setting up a project endowment fund: CHF 300,000.
• Perennial endowment funds : Capital deposited with the Foundation, a predetermined share of and the interest on which is used to finance projects.
  Minimum amount for setting up a perennial endowment fund: CHF 1,000,000.
