COP26 was held from October 31st<\/sup> to November 12th<\/sup> 2021 in Glasgow, an opportunity for delegates and participants to try to find an agreement to face the climate change our world is currently experiencing.<\/p>\n

The issue of the environmental challenge is at the heart of Partners for a New Economy (P4NE)<\/a>, a fund hosted at Swiss Philanthropy Foundation since 2015. This collaborative fund now brings together 6 major foundations and supports movements to build power for transformative change, in particular emerging ideas to transform the current economic system so that it is embedded within society and nature.<\/p>\n

Make My Money Matter<\/a>, an initiative supported by P4NE, was present at COP26. This initiative aims to raise awareness to reinvest pension funds‘ money to build a better future.<\/p>\n

On this subject, Richard Curtis, co-founder of the campaign, spoke in an article<\/a> and explained his commitments. In particular, the motivations behind the recent creation of the 21x Club, bringing together influential voices in the fields of climate and environment to highlight the power of pension funds.<\/p>\n
