Conference : Cross-border Philanthropy on October 17, 2018

As part of its year of presidency of the TGE network, Swiss Philanthropy Foundation holds in Geneva at Les Salons a conference entitled ” The potential of the cross-border philanthropy in Europe: update of practices and testimonies “, on Wednesday, 17 October 2018.

The conference will take place in the form of a round table divided in two phases. The first part will discuss stakes and potential of the cross-border philanthropy with the intervention of the top leaders of the TGE foundations partner: the King Baudouin Foundation, Fondation de France, Charities Aid Foundation, Foundation de Luxembourg and Swiss Philanthropy Foundation.

The second part will be dedicated to testimonies of philanthropists and profitable organizations about the European dimensions of their philanthropic projects. This event will give voice to donors, for whom the cross-border philanthropy allowed to implement project on wich they are very keen, and also to Swiss organizations, who saw their circle of donors extending in Europe, allowing them to strengthen supported projects.
