The speakers will also present various aspects of the Covid-19 crisis and the impact on foundations and non-profit organisations.<\/p>\n<p>Sabrina Grassi, General Director of the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation will present three collaborative initiatives that emerged under the umbrella of SPF during the health crisis: The &#8220;Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund&#8221; for the WHO, co-hosted with the United Nations Foundation, which raised $240 million, the &#8220;Covid-19 Rapid Aid Fund&#8221; to help NGOs impacted by the health crisis and the &#8220;Verbier Festival Emergency Relief Fund&#8221; an emergency aid fund for musicians in precarious situations during the pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>For more information, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.profonds.org\/index.php?id=113&amp;L=1\">please visit the proFonds website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Thursday, 4th february 2021, the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation is participating in the conference &#8220;News from foundations and NPOs during the Coronavirus crisis&#8221;, organised by the French-speaking branch of proFonds.
