Promotion of philanthropy

Young Talent Program

Swiss Philanthropy Foundation and WISE Philanthropy Advisors have partnered to create the Young Talent Program to provide young graduates with little or no professional experience an opportunity to acquire professional skills and develop their knowledge of the philanthropy sector in as part of a Junior Project Coordinator position within their structures. This program is aimed at Bachelor or Master graduates who wish to grow personally and professionally within dynamic and entrepreneurial structures. The Young Talent Program allows you to acquire professional experience and skills within two reference structures in the world of philanthropy.

The Young Talent Program takes place over a period of 12 months from September to September. Recruitment, published on the Swiss Philanthropy Foundation website, takes place in April each year.

Board for Good

The Board for Good Foundation offers young people a scholarship to learn about the workings of boards of trustees, as well as access to its alumni network. The main aim of this initiative is to breathe fresh life and diversity into Swiss charitable foundations.

Each year, Board For Good offers around 30 scholarships for multi-day training courses for foundation boards. Those who complete the training are invited to join the alumni network. Thanks to the mentoring program, graduates can also learn about the work of experienced board members.

The Board For Good Foundation was founded in June 2021 by Beate Eckhardt and Georg von Schnurbein. It is a tax-exempt charitable foundation housed within the Founders’ Foundation.

The scholarships are funded by several Swiss donor foundations, including Swiss Philanthropy Foundation.
