Since 2020, Begum has been broadcasting its educational and psychological support programs throughout Afghanistan. Relying on FM radio, its website, and satellite television, the organization broadcasts its content on a large scale, offering Afghan women a space for expression and giving them the confidence to build their own future.
Today, Swiss Philanthropy Foundation is proud to announce the development of Begum’s activities with the launch of a new initiative: the “Begum Empower Project”.
Positioning itself as an incubator for collaboration between philanthropists, the Foundation is activating its “Education and Employment” thematic fund and facilitating collaboration between three committed donors. During its first year, the Begum Empower Project will provide direct support to Afghan women entrepreneurs. On the one hand, it will offer access to business management training, complementing the programs already offered by Begum. On the other hand, it will provide direct financial support to a small group of women entrepreneurs who will also benefit from personalized coaching.
The Begum Empower project represents a new future for these women and once again highlights the power of collaborative projects and thematic funds. A big thank you to the donors for their commitment. We look forward to this meaningful and impactful collaboration.
